Well, it’s official. My Ficus tree is dead. I left it out for the first chill of the winter. Then, bringing it in and letting the cats have their way with it was the final dry, crackling straw. I suppose I’ll have to find something new to fill the huge, ceramic pot on my front porch. Right now it looks like a poor sad little stick popping out of the ground.
